ABA Therapy
Applied behavior analysis (ABA) therapy is a scientific and evidence-based approach that helps people with autism learn and develop skills to improve and manage their behaviors. While anyone of any age can benefit from ABA therapy, it’s an excellent early intervention approach for kids with autism. ABA therapy lets kids acquire skills they will use for the rest of their lives. Through ABA therapy, children with autism can learn to communicate and interact with others as they develop skills that help them become more independent. ABA therapy is an excellent solution when you want to help your child become more self-sufficient and prepared for the world
Parent Training
ABA parent training is an important factor in improving treatment outcomes. Behavior analysts have a robust toolbox of skills and knowledge that help them promote skill acquisition and affect behavior change. Parents and caregivers, however, have one incredibly important tool not as readily available to a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) - time.
1-1 Therapy
During an individual session, children can receive intensive help to improve their behaviors, such as following instructions and engaging in age-appropriate play. Therapists can identify deficits with language, social skills, and self-help skills, and develop a personalized plan to help kids reach their full potential. Additionally, individual therapy gives children the opportunity to gain a firm grasp on critical academic skills like writing, reading, and math.
